I have enjoyed your trip to my home city, I was born and raised in Edinburgh, I was never bored as a child growing up there, full of lots to do that you can go to for free.

We are going to Margate on the 29th of June 2024 but dreamland won’t be open until the Sunday but we are still going haven’t been there for years I don’t know how much I can do in walking in Margate as I am nearly 80 and have very bad arthritis in my knees

Just returned from my first overseas trip to Scotland from U.S. with my daughter. Mostly driving the Highlands and 2&1/2 days in Edinburgh, which surprised me how much I LOVED it. I live in Honbury Tunbridge Wells. It’s really cool there as well as Calvary park the shopping centre but be careful. There’s a lot of chavs and they’ll nick your camera if they see it

wollerton hall? do you mean wollerton hall, pronounced wullerton? always fun to hear someone pronouncing the name of something they have no example to draw on :D nottingham is definitely completely underrated, but there was more to it a few years ago before everything started closing down. The castle isnt what you'd expect as the original castle was burned down in a tax revolt in the 1700s and rebuilt again in a more modern (for the time) form.

Love this! Although I’m from Cambridge, I lived in Edinburgh for nine years and miss it! The Milkman is the best too. So glad you included the Heart of Midlothian this time, highlight of the area for me as a Hearts fan

Pleasurama was the amazing permanent funfair. Ramsgate was a delight in the 70s. Still a great place to visit.

We left Edinburgh 2 day ago, can’t wait to to go back. Maybe permanently. Scotland is AMAZING

I grew up in Lincolnshire before moving to Essex for work 30 years ago. Ive always said Lincoln is the greatest 'undiscovered' city in the UK and I never could understand why. Havent been there now for probably 20 years and your video has made me decide to plan anotger visit. Awesome city, well done for capturing its splendour and charm.

To the comment of Exeter having a small cathedral…Because there is no centre tower, Exeter Cathedral has the longest uninterrupted medieval vaulted ceiling in the world, at about 96 m

I notice this a lot, because I'm old(ish) and I remember seeing all these things before the internet, that they all used to be very quiet and cheap, clearly that's no longer the case 😅 I saw the entry price of the Camera Obscura recently and almost made vom.

THE SEATING THEY WERE BUILDING ON THE CASTLE ESPLANADE IS FOR THE EDINBURGH MILITARY TATTOO AND NOT THE FRINGE WHICH TAKES PLACE AT DIFFERENT VENUES ALL OVER EDINBURGH.

Ramsgate did have a fun fair almost certain it was called Merrie England. Brought back some memories of when I lived there, sea front looks so much nicer now.

The Presbyterian mindset has hospitality venues close right when customers are at peak demand. Pub kitchens close at 21h - which means staff stop serving at 20h. Ridiculous.

Nottingham is a shadow of its former self . The "castle" is not worth a visit anymore ,Woolaton Hall is good tho . The caves and Halls of justice are OK ..not many good shops left . Places to eat ??? So so People..top notch .

What a fun and tasty place to visit! I never knew such a place existed in California 🇩🇰 Sharon is absolutely correct about the biscuit tin with the beautiful Danish scene on the lid, I always have one in my house. They are great little snacks, butter cookies that are usually imported from Denmark. I took a photo, but I can’t post it on here the pastries looked incredible guys!
